Science in Science Fiction
Fri October 10, 2014 @ 19:30 – 21:00
| £2.00Event Navigation

Do Science Fiction writers always get their science right? And do they need to? Ken McLeod is a local author whose well-known works include the Fall Revolution series which began with The Star Fraction. He was also a friend of the late, great Iain M. Banks, whose science fiction is revered for its far-reaching breadth of vision. Here he will be discussing the use of science in the fiction of their books, and how they tried to make it as accurate as not-yet-invented technology can be.
This event is ticketed and costs £2.00. Tickets can be bought here or via the URL in the ticket section below. Please note that this venue does not have wheelchair accessible toilets.
