Science on the Wild Side at Vogrie
Sat October 22, 2016 @ 11:00 – 15:30
Event Navigation

Come and celebrate science outdoors at Vogrie Country Park with the Ranger Service and a host of scientists and nature experts! Out in the park help diagnose sick trees, find out what’s lurking in the pond, track some mammals, and learn to identify birds, or try and spy some archaeology. Under canvas get up close to a treasure chest of bugs and bones, explore butterfly DNA or become a Nature Detective with the Woodland Trust. Thought you knew the difference between solids and liquids – think again! Get Slimey with Be Experimental. Appreciate nature-inspired art outdoors. Or join the cycling scientists!
All this plus lots more! Talks, walks, bike rides, and drop-in, hands-on, family fun science. Face painting by Lori’s Creations.
