Changing World – Satellite Images Exhibition

Throughout October the Café Gallery at the West St Arts Centre will show an exhibition: “Space for Reflection – Living with Environmental Change”.

The exhibition has been organised by the Environmental Physics Group of the Institute of Physics. It will look at the use of satellite imagery to reflect upon man’s impact on the earth, considered in the light of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s (IPCC) 5th Assessment Report, as well as presenting stunning earth images, and digital artistic interpretations.

This Exhibition runs from 11am to 3pm every day from 5th to 17th Oct at West Street Arts Centre Penicuik

The Exhibition is a free drop in event and the arts centre is wheelchair accessible.

There is a special opening event on Sun 4th Oct from 11am to 3pm where you can get a preview of the exhibition, try your hand at analysing some images and hear from scientists working in the field of environmental satellite imagery, with a talk by Post-Graduate student Xu Teo at 2.30pm.

The Exhibition opening event is also a free drop in event.
