This neuro-yoga event will review and discuss the science regarding the effects of yoga and meditation , and ask whether the effects have a physical basis. The interactive event will combine a yoga session with a panel discussion between leading neuroscientists. The event will aim to demonstrate that it is possible to rigorously study yoga and meditation using scientific methods.
Join us for a presentation by local historian James Hogg, who will give an illustrated talk on the history of Midlothian Coal Mining.
